VERSEKEY HELP

A little help,
right here.

From your first setup to your next verse. Answers for VerseKey on iPhone and iPad.

How do I enable VerseKey?

On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard, then select VerseKey. Open a text field and use the globe key to select VerseKey. The app’s Tips tab includes a setup guide.

How do I allow Full Access?

Open Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → VerseKey, then enable Allow Full Access and confirm the system prompt. VerseKey uses this permission to retrieve Scripture online and save verse history in storage shared with the app. You can turn it off at any time; normal typing remains available, while online Scripture features require it.

How do I browse Bible books?

Tap the books icon beside the search field. Choose a book, chapter and verse, then tap the result to insert it. For several verses, enable Multi-select, choose the verse numbers and tap Fetch Selected. Use Select Whole Chapter before choosing a chapter to retrieve the full chapter. The keyboard icon returns you to typing.

How do I switch translations?

Tap the translation abbreviation in the keyboard toolbar and select an available translation. In the main app’s Settings, choose your default translation and which translations appear. Translation availability depends on the Scripture provider and your location.

How do I insert a verse?

Tap a verse result card to insert it into the active text field. In the main app’s Settings, choose text only, text and reference, or reference only as your insertion format. Review the passage and reference before sharing. VerseKey inserts text; you choose whether to send it in the other app.

Where can I find my recent verses?

Open VerseKey and select History to see recent inserted verses, their translations and insertion times. Tap an entry to view it. You can delete individual entries from History. Deleting an entry does not remove text already inserted into another app.

Can I try VerseKey inside the app?

Open the Preview tab to try the keyboard without opening another app. Type in Host Input Preview or search for and insert a verse. Copy copies the preview text; Clear clears that preview.

Why is VerseKey missing or switching to Apple’s keyboard?

First confirm that VerseKey is enabled in Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards. Touch and hold the globe key and select VerseKey. Secure password fields, some specialised fields and apps that block third-party keyboards use Apple’s keyboard instead. If VerseKey closes unexpectedly in a supported field, reopen the host app, switch back to VerseKey and check for an app update. Contact support if it continues.

Why are search or browse results unavailable?

Check your internet connection and that Allow Full Access is enabled for VerseKey. Retry the reference or try another available translation. Scripture providers can be temporarily unavailable or limit requests. If the issue continues, send support the reference, translation and any error message, without including private conversations.

Where can I get help with an App Store payment?

Apple processes in-app payments. Check your Apple purchase history for the transaction. For billing or refund requests, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For a problem with the support screen itself, contact the VerseKey team.
