Using VerseKey

VerseKey is provided by Maphari Technologies to help you find and insert Bible passages on iPhone and iPad. These terms apply to the app and this website, together with applicable Apple App Store terms. Use VerseKey lawfully, respect others’ rights and review text before sharing it. You remain responsible for what you send through other apps.

Scripture and third-party services

Scripture is supplied by third-party services. Translations and features may depend on connectivity, provider access, geographic restrictions and service changes. Search and browse in the keyboard require Full Access. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every translation will always be available. Check the passage, reference and translation before relying on or sharing it.

Translations may be protected by publisher copyright or other rights. Follow the relevant translation’s quotation limits, attribution requirements and licensing terms. VerseKey does not grant additional rights to reproduce or redistribute third-party Scripture. Relevant service terms include API.Bible’s terms and the ESV API conditions.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the app or website, bypass access restrictions, misuse support channels, or collect and redistribute Scripture in breach of provider or publisher terms. Do not use VerseKey to violate applicable law or another person’s rights.

Optional developer tips

VerseKey is free to use. Optional tips are one-time consumable In-App Purchases made inside the app through Apple. They are not subscriptions and do not unlock features, content or preferential access. A tip supports Maphari Technologies, a commercial company; it is not a charitable donation and we do not issue charitable donation receipts.

Apple displays the price and asks you to confirm the purchase. Purchases are subject to Apple’s payment terms and applicable consumer law. Consumable tips do not create a restorable feature entitlement. For billing or refund requests, use Apple’s Report a Problem service. We do not process payments on this website.

Ownership and responsibility

The VerseKey branding, original artwork, interface and website belong to Maphari Technologies or their respective rights holders. Other product names and Scripture content belong to their owners. Using VerseKey does not transfer ownership of these materials.

Features and services may change as we maintain the app or respond to provider changes. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Updates

We may update these terms as VerseKey changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Any changes remain subject to applicable consumer rights.
